Naxals torch vehicles at road construction site in Chhattisgarh

Dantewada: Naxals on Friday early morning set on fire several vehicles engaged in road construction work in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district. The incident took place around 2:30 am near Bacheli town where the road construction work was going on.

A group of more than 40 armed Naxals stormed the construction site and set aflame many vehicles including five trucks. They also snatched the mobile phones of the lorry drivers, before torching the vehicles.

This is the third attack by Naxals in Chhattisgarh within a span of one week.
