Government challenging devotees: K Surendran

Thiruvananthapuram: Talking at the stage in front of the secretariat where the hunger strike organised by the BJP is continuing, K Surendran, BJP State General Secretary said that the present actions of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan seemed unstable.

 

He further said that permission was granted by the Chief Minister’s office to the activists to visit Sabarimala temple during the most crowded Mandala festival season. K Surendran also said that the Kerala police had been with them from the beginning. and that activists arrived Sabarimala with the aid of police and government. He asked why the Chief Minister was trying to bring them to Sabarimala but they had to return due to mounting protest by the devotees.

 

Mr. Vijayan was losing ground in front of the protest of the believers and that, the kind of action on the part of the government was a challenge to the devotees, he added.
