Kochi: M12, Microsoft’s corporate venture fund, announced it’s first-ever investment India. Rashmi Gopinath, partner at M12, made the announcement at Microsoft’s annual Media and Analyst Days in Bengaluru on Wednesday. M12 aims to play a bigger, more active role for implementing new ideas, providing expertise and technical know-how to start-up companies.
Innovaccer, a healthcare data platform, has been selected for the first M12 investment in India for their increasing financial results. Indian market is rich with start-up companies with international standards, said Nagaraj Kashyap, Global Head of M12 and Vice President.
Association with these startups who have new innovative ideas, investors in business enterprises could be helped with providing those benefits of digital transformation, he added.
