Indore selected as cleanest city for third consecutive time

Ahmedabad became the biggest clean city, Ujjain became the cleanest medium city. The Delhi Municipal Council area was chosen as the cleanest small city.

New Delhi: Indore of Madhya Pradesh has been chosen as India's cleanest city for the third straight year, in the central government's cleanliness survey, Swachh Survekshan 2019.

Ahmedabad became the biggest clean city, Ujjain became the cleanest medium city. The Delhi Municipal Council area was chosen as the cleanest small city. Gauchar town of Uttarakhand is the best Ganga town. The Delhi Cantonment area reported as the cleanest cantonment area of India.

 President Ramnath Kovind will be distributing the awards today, in a function arranged in New Delhi.
