Janmabhumi Cinema Awards 2018: Sudani from Nigeria, best Film; Lijo Jose Pellissery, best director

Thiruvananthapuram: Sudani from Nigeria has been selected for the Janmabhumi Award for the Best Picture. The film, directed by Zaheer Mohammed and produced by Sameer Taheer and Shaiju Khalid, won the state award. Lijo Jose Pellissery (Ee Ma Youi) is the best director. The awards were announced by Jury Chairman TK Rajeev Kumar. Njan Prakashan is the best popular movie and its director Sathyan Anthikkad was adjudged as Best Director.

 

Scriptwriter: Shahi Kabir (Joseph), Lyricist: BR Prasad (Thattipurath Achuthan), Music Director: Kailas Menon (Train), Singer: KS. Harisankar (Train), Singer: Sithara Krishna Kumar (Kammara Sambhavam), Cameraman: S Kumar (Njan Prakashan), Art Director: Sunil Babu (Kayamkulam Kochunni), Editor Pravin Prabhakar (Koode), Soundtrack recording: Pramod Thomas (Eeda) are the other Awards.

 

The jury comprising TK Rajeev Kumar (Chairman), Menaka Suresh Kumar, Jalaja, Bhavachithra Jayakumar, T Jayachandran, and P Sreekumar selected the awards.
